Climbing 'Das erste Mal' (7-/5.11a) on the Arnstein Turm was an unforgettable experience. The route itself is a classic, known for its challenging moves and exposed position high on the tower. The rock is solid limestone, offering excellent friction in most places. The crux section, a powerful traverse, definitely tested my strength and technique. The feeling of topping out, overlooking the breathtaking Franconian Switzerland landscape, was truly rewarding. It's a route that demands respect and careful planning, but one that every ambitious climber should have on their list. The exposure alone makes it worth the effort!
