Kantentanz

Climbing 'Kantentanz' (Grade 5) on the majestic Gletscherseeplatten was an unforgettable experience. This route, a true classic in the region, offers exquisite slab climbing. The approach alone rewarded us with spectacular views of the glacial lake below. The climb itself was a delight: perfect friction on the granite slabs allowed for an almost dance-like ascent, truly living up to its name 'Edge Dance'. Particularly the more exposed passages offered a thrill, yet felt secure. With every pitch conquered, the panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and the shimmering lake below expanded. It's a perfect tour for lovers of Grade 5 climbing, combining technical precision with a magnificent alpine backdrop. The descent was straightforward, rounding off a perfect climbing day.
