Our ascent began with the crisp mountain air biting at our cheeks as we made the scenic, yet demanding, approach. Ropes coiled, gear checked, and minds attuned to the rock, we tackled the initial pitches. The climbing on Fayle Willi is quintessential Hochthron: exposed, technical, and often requiring precise footwork on small holds.

The true test, however, came on the crux pitches. Here, the Grade 6 really asserts itself – steep slabs transitioning into delicate cracks, demanding every ounce of strength and mental fortitude.
