Thayakante

Our recent climb at 'Kletterfels Hahnmühle - Linker Teil' led us to the classic route 'Thayakante'. Graded 5, it's a delightful and highly recommended ascent that truly offers a classic climbing experience for its difficulty. The route follows a prominent arête, providing varied climbing with positive holds, good friction on the solid granite typical for the region, and some engaging technical moves. While not overly exposed, there are airy sections that add to the adventure without being intimidating. Reaching the top rewards you with superb panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, making the effort truly worthwhile. 'Thayakante' is a must-do for anyone seeking a satisfying, moderately challenging climb in a beautiful natural setting.
