Climbing "Fragiler Tiger" (Grade 5) in the Tiegerturm is a classic experience. The route itself isn't overly strenuous, but the exposure and the sometimes-questionable rock, particularly near the top, definitely add a layer of excitement (and necessitate the "Fragile" part of the name!). The approach to the Tiegerturm is already rewarding, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The climb starts with relatively easy, well-featured rock, leading to a more exposed section with good holds but a definite sense of airiness. The final pitches become more delicate, requiring careful footwork and precise hand placements on often loose or brittle holds. A successful ascent demands a combination of solid technique, mindful movement, and a healthy respect for the rock quality. Reaching the summit and soaking in the panoramic views is a deeply satisfying reward, well worth the effort and the slight anxiety induced by the route's namesake.
