Climbing 'Sternenstaub' (7) on the Tiegerturm was an unforgettable experience. The route, true to its name (Stardust), felt like reaching for the stars. The initial moves were technically demanding, requiring precise footwork and body positioning on small crimps. The crux section, a powerful traverse across a blank face, demanded every ounce of strength and commitment. After clipping the chains, the view from the top was breathtaking, a well-deserved reward for the physical and mental battle. The Tiegerturm's rough granite offered a satisfying grip, making the climb feel solid and secure, despite the exposed nature of the wall. 'Sternenstaub' is a classic route and a must-do for any climber aspiring to conquer grade 7 on granite.
