Tigerkamin

Climbing "Tigerkamin" (Grade 3+) on the "Tiegerturm" is a classic alpine experience. The route, as the name suggests, features a prominent chimney ('Kamin' in German) that demands a good understanding of chimney climbing techniques. Expect stemming, bridging, and back-and-foot placements to navigate the ever-widening and constricting fissure. The rock is generally solid, but careful route finding and attention to potential loose holds are always advisable, especially within the chimney. While the grade might seem moderate, the sustained nature of the climbing and the often-exposed positions make it a rewarding and memorable ascent. The views from the top of the "Tiegerturm" are spectacular, providing a well-earned reward for the effort.
