Climbing "Snöf" (grade 7-) in the Vienna Woods was a truly rewarding experience. The approach, though not overly long, allowed for a pleasant warm-up through the verdant forest. The route itself is a stunning line, demanding both technical precision and a healthy dose of power endurance. The crux, located about halfway up, involved a series of delicate crimps and a powerful pull-through on a sloping hold. Securing that hold felt amazing! Above the crux, the climbing eased slightly, offering a welcome opportunity to recover before the final moves to the anchors. The rock was solid and featured great friction, making the whole experience both challenging and enjoyable. A definite must-do for any climber visiting the area!
