Climbing "Gschichtldrucker" (7) in Wachau/Waldviertel is a truly rewarding experience. The route, known for its technical and sustained climbing, demands precise footwork, good body positioning, and a solid head. Expect challenging sequences on small holds and the occasional awkward move. The rock quality in this area is generally excellent, providing good friction and confidence-inspiring placements. While the grade 7 might not be the absolute hardest, this climb is certainly no walk in the park. It requires stamina and focus, especially towards the top. The beautiful surroundings of the Wachau/Waldviertel region only add to the overall experience, making the effort well worth it.
