Drum Dream

Climbing "Drum Dream" at Engelstein is an experience etched in my memory. The route, a solid grade 7, presents a beautiful challenge of technical face climbing. The rock is immaculate, offering a fantastic combination of crimps, pockets, and delicate smears. The crux involved a tricky sequence requiring precise footwork and confident commitment to a high right hand crimp. The exposure adds to the excitement, especially higher up on the wall. A successful ascent felt incredibly rewarding, a testament to both physical strength and mental focus. Engelstein is a magical place, and "Drum Dream" is a route I'd highly recommend to any climber looking for a challenging and memorable experience.
