Damokles

The ascent of 'Damokles' (8-) in the Ennstal Alps was an unforgettable alpine challenge. This demanding route, true to its grade, presented a sustained test, demanding precision and mental fortitude from its very first meters. We navigated technical climbing on characteristic Ennstal limestone, with exposed sections pushing us to our limits. The breathtaking panorama of the Ennstal Alps provided a constant backdrop, a stark contrast to the burning forearms and focused concentration.
