Kanui

The ascent of 'Kanui' (grade 4) in the impressive Fernergrieswände is a true classic. Despite its moderate difficulty, the route offers a fantastic climbing experience, making it accessible yet highly rewarding. The rock is generally solid, providing enjoyable climbing on a mix of slabs and more structured features. Exposure increases with height, culminating in breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding alpine landscape from the summit. The climbing itself is varied and engaging, never overly strenuous but always requiring attention to protection and route finding.
