Flugdrachen

Climbing "Flugdrachen" (grade 7) in Flugdrachenfelsen was a challenging but incredibly rewarding experience. The rock face, true to its name (meaning "Flying Dragon Rock"), felt like a dragon's spine, demanding precise footwork and sustained power. The route itself was characterized by crimps and powerful pulls on slightly overhanging terrain. The crux involved a delicate traverse with minimal holds, requiring a high level of body tension and commitment. Reaching the anchor felt like a real victory, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. It's a climb that pushes you both physically and mentally, leaving you with a deep sense of accomplishment.
