Die Vielgeliebte

Tackling 'Die Vielgeliebte' (grade 9- UIAA) in the Graz Mountains was an unforgettable experience. This demanding route truly lives up to its name, demanding both respect and relentless effort from start to finish. From the intricate opening moves on steep limestone to the exposed cruxes high above the valley floor, every pitch felt like a dance with the rock. The sustained difficulty, delicate balance sequences, and incredible exposure made it a true test of physical prowess and mental fortitude. Reaching the summit, with panoramic views of the Styrian landscape stretching out below, was an immensely rewarding feeling, a testament to months of dedicated training and a perfect day on the rock.
