Climbing 'In Vino Veritas' on the Southwest Tower of Grossofen is a memorable experience. This 6+ (UIAA) route offers a good mix of climbing styles, from delicate face climbing to powerful sequences. The rock is generally solid, but be sure to inspect holds, especially higher up. The crux typically involves a tricky sequence on small crimps and precise footwork. Good gear placements are available, making it a reasonably well-protected climb. The views from the top are spectacular, rewarding the effort with a panorama of the surrounding landscape. It's a route that demands both technical skill and mental fortitude, making it a classic at Grossofen.
