Resls Riss

Climbing "Resls Riss" on Hausstein is a classic experience. This grade 6 (UIAA) crack climb offers sustained, physical climbing in a beautiful alpine setting. The route follows a prominent, often slightly flared, crack system up the steep face of Hausstein. Expect to encounter challenging stemming, jamming, and some face climbing sections to overcome its difficulties. The rock quality is generally good, but checking placements and cleaning holds is always recommended. Proper crack climbing technique and a solid rack of cams and nuts are essential for a safe and enjoyable ascent.
