Overview

Grade: 5

Mezi komíny (meaning 'Between the Chimneys'), a classic Grade 5 route, is a prominent feature of the "Hlavní sektor" (Main Sector). This popular climb is well-regarded for its accessible difficulty, making it an excellent choice for climbers progressing to moderate grades. The route itself offers varied climbing, often involving a mix of slab, cracks, and some more enclosed sections that hint at its name. The rock quality is generally solid, and the position provides pleasant views without feeling overly exposed. While not exceptionally long, it typically requires multi-pitch techniques. Descent is usually via a walk-off path from the top, or a short abseil depending on the exact finish. "Mezi komíny" is highly recommended for an enjoyable and rewarding climbing experience in the sector.
