Climbing 'Levý zimní žlab' (Left Winter Gully), graded 3- (UIAA), on Hlavní skála (Vyhlídka) offers a classic alpine experience, typically in winter conditions. The route follows a distinct gully carved into the rock face. The climbing itself is generally straightforward, with good holds and opportunities for protection using nuts and cams. However, the challenge lies in the potential for snow and ice conditions, requiring appropriate winter gear like crampons, ice axes, and warm clothing. Avalanche awareness is crucial, as gullies can be prone to snow accumulation and slides. The views from the top of Hlavní skála are spectacular, rewarding the effort with panoramic vistas of the surrounding landscape. Expect mixed terrain, including snow, ice, and rock, depending on the time of year and weather conditions. A solid understanding of winter mountaineering techniques is recommended before attempting this route.

- Rock sectors of the Žďárské vrchy have the status of specially protected areas (natural monuments or reserves)
- The following applies to all sectors except Čtyři palice:
- Access to the rocks by the shortest routes from marked tourist routes
- Climbing on objects other than marked ones and outside the permitted period only with a written permit from the PLA administration
- Use magnesium only with written permission from the PLA administration - replacement and installation of belays and marking of rocks and routes only with written consent from the PLA administration
- Organizing sports, tourist and other events only with the written consent of the PLA administration
