Schmalariss

The Schmalariss in the Hochschwab Group is a true classic for anyone comfortable with the 6+ UIAA grade. This multi-pitch route, often considered one of the finest in the area, offers sustained and varied climbing. You'll encounter demanding crack systems, delicate slabs, and exposed traverses on excellent Hochschwab limestone. The route is known for its consistent quality and a spectacular summit view. Reaching the top is incredibly rewarding, but remember that the descent, whether by abseiling or a traverse, requires careful planning. It's a fantastic adventure in a stunning alpine setting.
