Overview

Grade: 7-

Climbing "Cesta3" (7-) in the "Inferno" sector was a truly memorable experience. The route, aptly named given the sector's reputation, presented a challenging and engaging sequence of moves. The rock was sharp and textured, offering surprisingly good friction despite the overhanging nature of the climb. I recall a particularly strenuous section where I had to make a committing reach for a small crimp, followed by a powerful pull-up to secure a stable position. The exposure was definitely felt, adding to the overall intensity. Successfully navigating the crux and reaching the anchor was incredibly rewarding. "Cesta3" stands out as a classic line in "Inferno", demanding both technical skill and physical strength. It's a climb that leaves you feeling thoroughly worked, but with a strong sense of accomplishment.

- Rock sectors of the Žďárské vrchy have the status of specially protected areas (natural monuments or reserves)
- The following applies to all sectors except Čtyři palice:
- Access to the rocks by the shortest routes from marked tourist routes
- Climbing on objects other than marked ones and outside the permitted period only with a written permit from the PLA administration
- Use magnesium only with written permission from the PLA administration - replacement and installation of belays and marking of rocks and routes only with written consent from the PLA administration
- Organizing sports, tourist and other events only with the written consent of the PLA administration

OVK: first ascents are prohibited
