Climbing "Benji's Wille" (grade 7) was an experience that pushed me both physically and mentally. The initial holds were surprisingly positive, leading to a false sense of security. The crux, however, was a reachy move requiring a powerful lock-off and precise foot placement on a slick, sloping hold. Falling there was almost guaranteed until I focused on engaging my core and committing to the move. After the crux, the climbing eased off slightly, but still demanded focus and stamina to reach the anchor. The exposure added to the intensity, making the summit a truly rewarding achievement. A well-protected and memorable route that challenges both technique and resolve.
