Rope Length: 70m

Climbing "Wasseramsel go home" (grade 6) was a memorable experience. The route, nestled amongst the trees, felt initially intimidating. The first few moves were surprisingly technical, demanding precise footwork and thoughtful body positioning on small crimps. Finding the beta for the crux sequence was key; a delicate traverse requiring a high step and a long reach felt incredibly exposed. After sticking the reach, a few more strenuous pulls led to a satisfying jug. The rest of the climb was more moderate, allowing for a moment to appreciate the surrounding nature. The overall experience was challenging but rewarding, leaving a sense of accomplishment and a desire to return and try it again.
