Rope Length: 70m

Climbing 'Alpenrose', a classic Grade 6 multi-pitch route, was an unforgettable experience. The name itself, evoking a beautiful alpine flower, hinted at the stunning scenery we would encounter. Early morning, with the crisp mountain air biting at our cheeks, we geared up at the base. Each of the several pitches offered a unique challenge – from exposed slabs demanding precise footwork to intricate cracks requiring solid technique. The Grade 6 crux sections truly tested our composure and strength, but the feeling of overcoming them was immensely satisfying. Reaching the summit after hours of upward progress, we were rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views that stretched across the valleys and peaks. The multi-pitch abseil descent was an adventure in itself, carefully reversing our path down the face. 'Alpenrose' wasn't just a climb; it was a testament to partnership, endurance, and the raw beauty of the vertical world.
