Climbing "Trio" in Oldříšská plotna, specifically at Janelův lom (Janel's Quarry), is a rewarding experience for climbers comfortable with grade 5+ (UIAA). This route, likely located on the main slab (Plotna in Czech means Slab), probably offers a mix of technical footwork, delicate handholds, and a good sense of balance. Given the nature of slab climbing, expect relatively sustained climbing with small, positive holds and potentially run-out sections requiring confident movement between bolts. The rock in Oldříšská plotna is typically high-quality sandstone, but always check for loose holds, especially after rain or weathering. Be prepared for a mentally demanding climb, requiring focus and precision. Before attempting "Trio", warm up on easier routes in the area to get accustomed to the rock and style of climbing. Consider the weather conditions; sandstone can become slippery when wet, making slab climbing even more challenging. Remember to always prioritize safety and use appropriate climbing gear, including a helmet and quickdraws. Enjoy the climb and the stunning views from the quarry!
