Today, I finally sent 'Dlouhé lokty' (7+) in Orlí! This route has been haunting me for weeks. The initial crux, a powerful crimp move on a slightly overhanging wall, felt impossible at first. I worked the sequence countless times, micro-adjusting my foot placement and body positioning until I found a beta that clicked. The middle section offered a brief respite with slightly easier climbing, but the mental game was still on. The final section demanded precision and endurance, culminating in a delicate traverse to the anchor. Clipping the chains felt incredible! The views from the top were a well-deserved reward. This send feels like a significant step up in my climbing journey. Now, time for a celebratory beer!
