Overview

Grade: ?

Climbing "Arboretum" on "Rozpůlený hřeben" (Split Ridge) is a quintessential Adršpach sandstone experience in the Czech Republic. Graded around **VIIc/VIIIa UIAA** (Saxon/Bohemian grading system), it's a classic and highly sought-after route known for its unique challenges. The climb typically involves intricate friction climbing, delicate balance, and demanding stemming or chimney moves on the characteristic Adršpach sandstone. It offers superb exposure and requires precise technique and a strong head for traditional climbing. Reaching the summit of this iconic formation provides breathtaking panoramic views of the surreal rock city.
