Today's objective was 'Osternest', a renowned 7- sport climbing route nestled within the atmospheric 'Sektor Osterinsel'. From the outset, the route demanded precision, starting with delicate technical moves on surprisingly small crimps and faint smears. This quickly transitioned into a more physical, pumpy section featuring dynamic reaches between shallow pockets. The 'nest' itself, the crux, felt like a complex puzzle – a sequence of balance-intensive slopers and tricky high feet that truly tested composure. After a fierce battle against the pump and gravity, clipping the chains was a moment of pure exhilaration. The reward wasn't just the send, but also the panoramic view from the top, making 'Osternest' a truly memorable and classic ascent.
