Climbing "Streichen ist schöner" (grade 6) in "Sektor Stahlstadt" was a surprisingly enjoyable experience. Despite the rather industrial and somewhat intimidating name of the sector, the route itself offered delicate and balanced moves. The rock was solid, with good friction, and the crux involved a satisfying sequence of crimps and subtle foot placements. The feeling of topping out after navigating the tricky slab was rewarding, making the climb well worth seeking out in "Sektor Stahlstadt". The name, which translates to "Painting is nicer," adds a touch of humor to the gritty surroundings.
