Each of its typically 3-4 pitches presents unique challenges, with the crux usually delivering the full 7+ experience through a series of crimps, pockets, and sometimes dynamic sequences on overhanging terrain. The Schwollwand lives up to its name, offering sustained, exposed climbing that demands good technique, endurance, and mental fortitude.
