Climbing 'Pádová' (literally 'The Falling One'), a classic Grade V (Czech/UIAA) climb on the striking formation of 'Strmá a Šikmá věž' (Steep and Slanted Tower), offers a quintessential Czech sandstone climbing experience. The route typically involves intricate moves on characteristic sandstone features – perhaps some delicate slab work, exposed traverses, or powerful crack climbing, all demanding precise footwork and a confident head for heights. Protection is traditional, relying on slings, cams, and nuts, which adds to the adventure and requires a good understanding of gear placement. Reaching the summit of Strmá a Šikmá věž via Pádová provides stunning panoramic views of the surrounding rock city. It's a moderately challenging but highly rewarding ascent, perfect for climbers comfortable with the grade and traditional protection, offering a taste of the unique beauty and challenge of Czech rock climbing.

Žďárské vrchy Protected Landscape Area
- Rock sectors of the Žďárské vrchy have the status of specially protected areas (natural monuments or reserves)
- The following applies to all sectors except Čtyři palice:
- Access to the rocks by the shortest routes from marked tourist routes
- Climbing on objects other than marked ones and outside the permitted period only with a written permit from the PLA administration
- Use magnesium only with written permission from the PLA administration - replacement and installation of belays and marking of rocks and routes only with written consent from the PLA administration
- Organizing sports, tourist and other events only with the written consent of the PLA administration

OVK: first ascents are prohibited

Nature Conservation: Climbing allowed all year round, Královský zámek (Fairy Tales, Žďárské sedlo) with Trůn prohibited from January 1st to June 30th.
