Climbing "Schatzili" (8-) in Trabant was an incredible experience. The route is known for its powerful crimps and tricky footwork, demanding precision and sustained effort. The rock quality in Trabant is generally excellent, providing solid holds where you need them most. I found the crux section to be particularly challenging, requiring a dynamic move off a small crimp to a slightly better hold. Mental fortitude is key, as the exposure adds to the pressure. A successful ascent of "Schatzili" is a rewarding achievement, a testament to both physical strength and technical skill. The feeling of topping out after battling through the difficulties is unforgettable.
