Climbing Sally in the Vienna Woods was a real test! This grade 7 route demanded precise footwork and a good balance. The rock felt surprisingly smooth in places, forcing me to rely heavily on crimps and slopers. The crux move, a long reach to a positive hold, required commitment and a burst of power. Successfully sticking it and pulling through felt incredibly rewarding. The exposure near the top added to the excitement, and the view of the surrounding forest was simply breathtaking. Definitely a route to remember!
