Grade: 3+

Climbing "Sokolíček" (grade 3+) in Žďárské vrchy offers a delightful and accessible experience on the Žďárský hřeben (Žďár Ridge). This route, generally considered a classic for beginner to intermediate climbers, provides beautiful views and engaging moves without being overly challenging. The rock is typically solid granite, offering good friction and plenty of holds. While protection is usually decent, carrying a small rack of cams and nuts can be helpful to supplement existing placements, especially in the upper sections. Žďárské vrchy Protected Landscape Area
- Rock sectors of the Žďárské vrchy have the status of specially protected areas (natural monuments or reserves)
- The following applies to all sectors except Čtyři palice:
- Access to the rocks by the shortest routes from marked tourist routes
- Climbing on objects other than marked ones and outside the permitted period only with a written permit from the PLA administration
- Use magnesium only with written permission from the PLA administration - replacement and installation of belays and marking of rocks and routes only with written consent from the PLA administration
- Organizing sports, tourist and other events only with the written consent of the PLA administration

OVK: first ascents are prohibited

Nature Conservation: Climbing allowed all year round, Královský zámek (Fairy Tales, Žďárské sedlo) with Trůn prohibited from January 1st to June 30th.
