The 'Große Sorapis Runde' (Great Sorapis Circuit) is a classic and highly rewarding via ferrata traverse, located in the stunning Sorapis Group of the Dolomites, Italy. This challenging full-day tour typically combines three distinct sections: the Ferrata F. Berti, the Sentiero C. Minazio, and the Ferrata A. Vandelli.

Graded C, this circuit presents sections of steep climbing, requiring good physical condition, sure-footedness, and a head for heights. While not overly technical, there are exposed passages and vertical sections that demand concentration and proper via ferrata equipment (helmet, harness, ferrata set).

The Ferrata F. Berti offers exhilarating climbing and impressive exposure, leading to panoramic vistas. The Sentiero C. Minazio provides a connecting traverse, often with historical remnants and equally stunning views. Finally, the Ferrata A. Vandelli, while perhaps less technically demanding than Berti, is no less spectacular, often featuring impressive rock formations and leading towards the iconic Rifugio Vandelli and the turquoise Lago di Sorapis.

The views throughout the circuit are breathtaking, encompassing a vast panorama of the surrounding Dolomites, including iconic peaks like Marmolada, Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Pelmo, and Cristallo. It's a long, demanding, but unforgettable journey through some of the most beautiful and wild landscapes of the Dolomites, ideal for experienced via ferrata enthusiasts.
