Climbing the Sentiero Arturo Ziffer (A/B) offers a delightful introduction to via ferrata, even though it doesn't climb all the way to the summit of Croda da Lago. The route is generally well-protected with steel cables, ladders, and occasionally wooden bridges, making it accessible to climbers with some scrambling experience and a good head for heights. While the grade A/B suggests primarily easy terrain, there are still sections that require a bit of strength and careful footwork, particularly in steeper areas. The exposure provides stunning views of the surrounding Dolomite peaks and valleys, making the climb a rewarding experience. It's important to be properly equipped with via ferrata gear (harness, helmet, and lanyard) and to check weather conditions beforehand, as the route can become more challenging in rain or snow.
