Climbing "Komín" (the Chimney) at grade C was a delightfully unique experience. While "C" indicates an easier scramble, it was by no means dull. The Komín truly lived up to its name, plunging us into a narrow, vertical fissure in the rock. It demanded a full-body engagement: stemming with feet on opposing walls, pushing with hands, and sometimes even a bit of wriggling. The air grew cooler and the light dimmer as we ascended deeper into its confines. It felt like exploring a secret passage, a hidden route through the mountain. Every upward movement required coordination and a good sense of balance. Emerging from the top, blinking into the bright daylight and panoramic views, brought a tremendous sense of accomplishment. It's a fantastic reminder that even seemingly simple sections can offer some of the most memorable moments on a climb.
