Climbing the Seekofel Klettersteig (Via Ferrata) in the Pragser Dolomites offers a fantastic alpine experience. Graded C, this Klettersteig is considered moderately difficult. It demands good physical fitness, sure-footedness, and a head for heights. While not overly technical, climbers can expect steep ascents, some exposed traverses, and potentially short vertical sections that require arm strength. The route is well-secured with steel cables, ladders, and iron rungs, providing a thrilling yet manageable ascent to the summit of Seekofel (Cima Dieci/Monte Zehnero). Panoramic views of the surrounding Dolomites are the ultimate reward. The return typically involves a separate, often less demanding, hiking trail, allowing for a relaxed descent back to the starting point or nearby refuges, completing a memorable day in the mountains.
