The Schlicker (Ochsenwand) Klettersteig, located in the Stubai Alps near Schlick 2000, offers a thrilling and challenging experience for via ferrata enthusiasts. Graded C/D, it demands good physical condition and a strong head for heights due to its exposed sections and steep ascents. The route is exceptionally well-secured with ample wire ropes, iron rungs, and some vertical ladders, leading you up the imposing Ochsenwand. As you ascend, you're continuously rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, making every effort worthwhile. It's a demanding but highly rewarding climb, offering a true sense of achievement upon completion. This Klettersteig is definitely not for beginners and requires prior experience on similar, less challenging routes.
