Urban Friction
Urban Friction is an indoor climbing gym in Windhoek, Namibia, located on level 1 of Maerua Mall by the Checkers parking. It has bouldering walls and roped routes for climbers of all levels, and gear is provided for beginners. New climbers complete an introduction course before registering, while experienced climbers take a belay test. The gym also offers training classes, team-building and corporate events, school outings and children's birthday parties, and hosts community events such as "Women Climb for Free" on International Women's Day.
