Located in Žilina, Slovakia, LA SKALA is a premier climbing destination and the first facility in the country built entirely from the ground up specifically for climbing. Because it was purpose-built without architectural compromises, it provides top-tier conditions for everyone—from complete beginners and children to seasoned professionals and competitive athletes. Key Features & FacilitiesLead Climbing: The center boasts a massive 3,500 square meters of climbing surface, with hundreds of routes reaching impressive heights of up to 19 meters. Bouldering Area: A dedicated, separate bouldering hall spanning 530 square meters with modern holds and regular route setting. Training Tools: Features a Moonboard for strength training, a Speedwall, and auto-belays so you can climb even without a partner. Winter Drytooling: During the winter months, an outdoor drytooling wall is available. LA SKALA even hosts official UIAA European Cup drytooling and ice-climbing events.
