Climbing "Besser spät als Nie" (grade 7) on the 1. Bandiarac Pillar was a truly rewarding experience. The route offers sustained and technical climbing, demanding a thoughtful approach to each move. The rock quality is excellent, providing solid holds and secure placements. The exposure, especially higher up, adds to the adventure. While the grade suggests a manageable challenge, the sustained nature of the climb requires good stamina and precise footwork. Successfully topping out felt like a real accomplishment after battling the pump and navigating the intricate sequences. A must-do for anyone looking for a classic multi-pitch at this grade in the Bandiarac area!
