Climbing a grade 4 route like "Čtyřka-skkl" in the Babička region is a great introduction to the world of Czech sandstone climbing. While the grade isn't particularly challenging, these routes often require a good understanding of the local ethics and techniques. Expect potentially sandy holds, wider cracks than you might be used to, and the need to place your own protection (friends, nuts). Route finding can sometimes be tricky, so pay close attention to the topo. The satisfaction of topping out after navigating the intricate rock formations and placing solid gear is definitely rewarding!
