Rope Length: 70m

The iconic Badener Turm loomed, a familiar yet ever-challenging silhouette against the sky. Our objective for the day: 'Ende gut, alles gut,' a grade VIII line that promised both technicality and exposure. From the first intricate moves off the belay, the route demanded absolute precision. Small crimps and delicate foot placements characterized the lower section, building anticipation for the notorious crux. This specific sequence, a series of almost invisible smears and tenuous reaches, truly tested mental fortitude and physical endurance. As I climbed higher, the air grew crisper, and the panoramic views expanded, a breathtaking reward for the sustained effort. Reaching the sun-drenched summit felt like a profound release. The route's name, 'All's well that ends well,' resonated deeply, perfectly encapsulating the satisfaction of overcoming its challenges. It was a climb that left an indelible mark, a testament to the thrill of pushing limits and the beauty of the vertical world.
