Climbing 'Zlobr' (grade 5+) in the 'Balrog' area is a memorable experience. The route itself is characterized by powerful moves on slightly overhanging rock. The starting holds are good, but quickly give way to a sustained section requiring strong fingers and good body positioning. The crux involves a difficult reach to a crimp followed by a dynamic move to a more positive hold. The rock is generally solid, but some holds may be a bit polished from frequent use. Protection is adequate, with well-spaced bolts, offering a reasonably safe climb for experienced climbers. The exposure adds to the excitement, and reaching the top provides a rewarding view of the surrounding area. A solid 5+ climber will find 'Zlobr' a challenging but attainable goal.
