Climbing 'La Vida es Sueño' (8-) in the Brunntalwand was a truly memorable experience. The route is a masterpiece of pocket pulling and technical crimping, demanding both power and precision. The compact, slightly overhanging limestone throws intricate sequences at you, forcing you to constantly reassess your body position and find the optimal grip. The crux section, near the top, required a sustained effort of delicate footwork and determined pulling, leaving me breathless. Reaching the chains felt like a hard-earned victory, followed by the incredible panorama from the Brunntalwand. A must-do for anyone climbing in this grade!
