Climbing "Frisch saftig steirisch" in Bucklige Welt was an experience. The route, a solid grade 7 (UIAA), presented a good mix of technical crimps and powerful, slightly overhanging sections. The rock was generally grippy, though some sections demanded precise footwork. The crux felt like a sequence of thin holds leading to a more positive, but still pumpy, section. The exposure wasn't too bad, but the views over the rolling hills of the Bucklige Welt were definitely worth pausing to appreciate after clipping the chains. Overall, a rewarding and enjoyable climb that definitely lived up to its name – fresh, juicy, and Styrian!
