Climbing 'Jednička' (Grade 1) at 'Dolní zub' offers the most accessible entry into rock climbing. This route, aptly named 'The One' or 'Number One,' represents the absolute easiest grade on the UIAA scale, often feeling more like an advanced scramble or a very steep walk where hands are occasionally needed for balance. It's perfectly suited for absolute beginners, children, or as a gentle introduction to the rock environment. While not requiring specialized climbing equipment for the ascent itself, it's a wonderful way to experience the unique feel of the rock and the surroundings of 'Dolní zub' without any technical demands.
Rules
The ČHS rules for Czech rock areas and the local regional commission's rules apply: do not alter the rock or holds, do not climb on wet rock, and follow ČHS principles for first ascents.
