Climbing "Zaječí" (meaning "Hare" in Czech) on the "Hlavní skála (Vyhlídka)" (Main Rock, Viewpoint) is a delightful and relatively accessible experience for climbers seeking a classic route with beautiful views. This grade 4+ climb offers a good mix of climbing styles, typically involving some slab, some vertical sections, and possibly even a slightly overhanging move or two depending on the specific interpretation of the route. The rock is generally solid, providing good holds and friction. The route itself is usually well-protected with bolts, making it suitable for climbers who are confident leading at this grade. The real reward, however, is the incredible panorama from the top of Hlavní skála. Prepare for a fun, rewarding climb with stunning views that make all the effort worthwhile. Žďárské vrchy Protected Landscape Area
- Rock sectors of the Žďárské vrchy have the status of specially protected areas (natural monuments or reserves)
- The following applies to all sectors except Čtyři palice:
- Access to the rocks by the shortest routes from marked tourist routes
- Climbing on objects other than marked ones and outside the permitted period only with a written permit from the PLA administration
- Use magnesium only with written permission from the PLA administration - replacement and installation of belays and marking of rocks and routes only with written consent from the PLA administration
- Organizing sports, tourist and other events only with the written consent of the PLA administration
