Velikán

Finally, after weeks of projecting, I clipped the chains on "Velikán" (9-) in Jára! This route is an absolute beast. It starts with powerful, overhanging moves on sharp crimps, demanding precise footwork and unwavering core strength. The crux involves a committing dyno to a shallow two-finger pocket, followed by a tricky sequence of slopers and micro-crimps to the anchor. The mental game on this one was huge. Doubt crept in constantly, especially after near misses. But the feeling of finally sticking that dyno and powering through the final moves was pure elation. So stoked to have finally sent this one – a true testament to perseverance and dedication!
