Difficulty
4
Destičky, a classic Grade 4 climb in the Knedlík area, offers an excellent introduction to slab climbing. The name, meaning 'little plates,' perfectly describes the route's character: smooth, compact rock with small, positive features. It's a fantastic route for honing footwork and balance. While relatively easy, it demands concentration and precise movement. The climb provides a sense of exposure without being overly committing, leading to a rewarding top-out with nice views of the surrounding landscape. It's a popular choice for beginners or as a warm-up for more challenging routes in Knedlík.
Rules
The ČHS rules for Czech rock areas and the local regional commission's rules apply: do not alter the rock or holds, do not climb on wet rock, and follow ČHS principles for first ascents.
